We’ve been blogging about the Future of Work for over a year now. More and more leaders find themselves in discussion with fearful employees who are worried about the advance of technology in companies. Because the business case for automating repetitive and single skill sets is well established employees may have good reason to worry.

The capabilities needed for the new workplace are more integrative, combining the analytical with social skills. Leaders should encourage employees now to acquire more sophisticated social and integrative thinking abilities as development options to better ensure employability in the future.
