There are some key words that should alert you to the level of changes coming if you’re considering the move to data-driven decision making. Ecosystem, culture, …working in harmony. Each carries enormous implications for change. Ecosystems need to be mapped and continually nourished. Thriving cultures need a mechanism for change and fast (non-devastating) failure. Harmony between strategy, IT and statistics is not “automagic”. Harmony must be co-created with all parties having an equal seat at the table.
