Using SharePoint to Manage SharePoint Adoption: Proven Tools and Techniques

Speaker: Liz Jagla

Many organizations have spent millions of dollars deploying SharePoint solutions, but far fewer have been successful in getting the value they expect and deserve. Simply put, effective SharePoint adoption requires more than just putting something out there and telling people to figure it out.

This session shares proven behavior change management techniques and tools to guide business leaders, project managers and other deployment team members to successful and sustainable SharePoint adoption.

During this session you will learn how to use any version of SharePoint – in the cloud, on premise or hybrid – to manage the most critical pre-, during and post-deployment adoption activities for your SharePoint solutions. This includes engaging sponsors and stakeholders, conducting inquiries to understand team culture, experience and requirements, building a strong vision and business case, identifying barriers and enablers to adoption, assessing your organization’s readiness for change, managing risks and opportunities, and creating and tracking effective plans for organizational capability, training, governance, support, measurement, communications and deployment.

Additionally, adoption success stories will be shared for you to gain insight into what has worked in Fortune 100 companies to get people to want to change the way they work with SharePoint.

Liz will be speaking Monday, February 22 from 2:00pm – 3:15pm
