Challenge

A leading global petrochemical company sought to implement a Management of Change (MOC) business process through its Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) organization. The purpose of the MOC process is to minimize the possibility of incidents occurring by systematically managing permanent and temporary changes to facilities, operations, and products. To be successful, the new MOC process had to achieve buy-in by the business units, commitment by employees at all levels, and defined skill and knowledge transfer required for proficient execution.

Solution

Expressworks and Vangent partnered to provide this client with a robust change management, communications, and blended learning program including the following components:
  • Change Management Strategy
  • Communication Plan
  • Blended Learning Program  including short “lessons learned” videos from select company leaders to model desired behaviors
