Challenge

The trading arm of a Fortune Global 500 energy company engaged Vangent and Expressworks in a Global Commodities Trading initiative to provide training and change management support. The goal was to enable this client to maximize the value realized as a result of business processes improvements and system implementations for its trading and supply operations. The initiative targeted Crude Trading, which consists of deal capture, risk management, operations scheduling and movements, settlements and accounting, and reporting.   

Solution

To support this initiative, the Vangent—Expressworks team provided:

    • Training Curriculum design for 50+  hours of instructor-led and hands-on workshop based training
